Breaking and placing a block at the same time can place the block in the incorrect direction

The bug

When breaking a block and placing another block at the same place at the same time, the placed block appears to be placed incorrectly; the orientation is like it should be if it was placed on the destroyed block, but the block is placed at the coordonate of the destroyed block.

To reproduce

1. Switch into Creative mode
2. Build a pillar of blocks
3. Take stairs
4. Look at the topmost block of the pillar
5. Break and place the block at the same time
   → The stairs can be placed upside-down
