Realm Disconnect Issue

Everytime I log onto my friend's realm, it loads for a few seconds before disconnecting and displaying error message: internal exception java.io.ioexception connection reset by peer. After logging in many, many times, it will glitch and things will move very quickly and I am able to play. It is very tedious as each time I die or leave the realm, it can take up to an hour to get back in. 

What is happening? What can I do?
