White map marker dissapeared after moving away

When I made a map to mark a location of a jungle biome, i moved away towards my house and a ways away "i think around 100-500 meters away" the white marker which would normally just stay on the map boarder, wasn't there anymore. I tried to see if it was in 1.14.3, and it was still happening.
