Game crashes whenever i click "Play"

Every time I try to run Minecraft, the launcher opens smoothly yet when I push "Play" 

it decides to crash with the error message ...

   "No OpenGL context found in the current thread."

I've tried to play on different versions of Minecraft just in case it was Optifine. I've searched it up and can't find anything. Please help.
