disapering blocks and getting stuck in areas

i had been playing minecraft alot a few years ago but got bord i got back to play it a few weeks ago but i noticed that a bug that had been there since last time i played was still there baseicly when i place a block it just desaperas and when i walk past a block i get stuck and glitch back and forth
