Harvesting and planting crops repeatedly and quickly breaks plowed dirt block

Harvesting and planting crops repeatedly with a bone meal dispenser breaks the dirt block. only single clicking and for sure hitting the crop hitbox, not the dirt. This only happens when the dirt block is behind the crop hitbox. If you harvest with another block behind the crop hitbox (dispenser, stone, etc), this error doesn't occur.
