Server wide java.lang.StackOverflowError during Raid

Playing on a Java Edition Server on 1.14.3. (could not select 1.14.3 under "Affects Version/s")

• Player A kills an Illager Patrol.
• It drops a banner.
• He picks up the banner and receives the Bad Omen curse.
• Player A and Player B enter a village.
• The Raid bar appears at the top of the screen.
• After a few seconds the server crashes and kicks all players with a 'java.lang.StackOverflowError'
• No more information. No logs unfortunately.
• Server restarts
• Player A, B and C reenter the server pretty much simultanously and get kicked again after a few seconds
• The raid is starting again
• Player A places the banner in the world and loses the Bad Omen curse
• All players get kicked with the same error as above
• Player B enters the server and runs away from the village/raid
• Player A joins the server and gets tped to Player B instantly via command
• No more crashes from here on out
