Not being able to use inventory spaces on all blocks including the player character's

This is pretty game-breaking. I can't drag and drop items into inventory spaces. This seems to affect all blocks including crafting tables, furnaces, chests, and the player character inventory. The cursor seems to "glitch" through the spaces and not allow anything to be dropped into it. It's frustrating and I can't even play the game because of it. I can't craft correctly, chest space is extremely minimal, using furnaces is impossible, etc. I've even tried reinstalling the launcher and the game and it didn't fix it.
