minecraft craches

Put the summary of the bug you're having here
when my brothers try to login to minecraft it turns into a screen full of dirt blocks and then crashes.
What I expected to happen was...:
to login to minecraft so i can play my saved files
What actually happened was...:
i logged in and it started to load on the dirt screen then crashed.
