Invisible Horse

Every so often when im riding on a horse, with saddle and diamond armor, and i jump off of it, it disappears! IT doesnt die or vanish, rather it goes invisible. I can still hear the horse making noises and if i click around me to get back on it nothing happens. However, when i save and exit, then reload my save, thankfully the horse reappears. This isnt game breaking but very annoying that i have to reload each time.
