Unable to craft some items..

Im unable to craft diamond sword/ axe but able to craft diamond pickaxe/shovel/hoe, i cant even find diamond axe/sword on the recipe book, if i would put 1 stick,2 diamonds, the right way, nothin happens, i made this game into LAN so i can play with my brother. He himself cant craft torches but i can. so this "bug"?, is not only on diamond sword/axe. Im using thalyrus medieval warfare texture pack ( latest 1.14 version ), and i have tried without the texture pack, still unable to create the items. Does anyone else have the same broplem on 1.14.3?
