Worlds/Server list/versions and texture packs get cleared out of nowhere

What I expected to happen was...:

I expect my worlds not to get deleted

What actually happened was...:

A couple of times out of nowhere all my worlds/server list/versions and rescource packs get wiped away, this has happened to me around 5 times now and its getting really annoying.
