files in texts folder have unknown, non-removable character at first position

To replicate, just create a resource pack with only one line in splashes.txt, so it 100% is shown. Or simply remove all lines. Then you will get the character only, without the line.

Works the same with credits.txt and end.txt. It will show as the very first character.

 

Screenshots show the character ingame as a splash, while it is not in the textfile.

Note: All files in the texts folder, so splashes.txt, credits.txt and end.txt are affected and have this unknown character at the first position when displayed.
