Boat glitch when broken

Boat seems perfect until you broke it. It disappears leaving a glitched block where you cannot put anything or pass through, it happened to me several times when traveling (I broke it with a sword) and I lost a lot of boats because of this (the boat item also dissapears)...in previous versions this wasn't happening (1.14, 1.14.2).
