Minecraft 1.14.3 and all versions prior to 1.13 lags whole computer intensely while launching

When launching the game from the launcher in 1.14.x or 1.13.x it will lag my whole computer and causing audio playing to stutter and my mouse to stutter across the screen really slowly. When i click play it begins to load, the launcher closes then it lags for about 10 seconds then the game comes up. When I looked at the game output while it was doing this it started lagging when it said "LWJGL Version: 3.2.2 build 10" and stopped lagging when "Narrator library for x64 successfully loaded" popped up.
