Villagers can no longer pathfind to work stations in certain positions

The bug

After the villager pathfinding "optimisations" in 1.14.4-pre2, they can no longer reach work stations in certain positions, breaking some designs of villages or iron farms. The only positions they can reach their work stations now are directly in front of them (feet level) or directly below them. Other positions, like diagonal sideways, above or below no longer work, same with work stations located directly in front or above their head.
