Game crashes after killing the Ender Dragon

After killing the ender dragon in creative mode the portal and the egg spawns as normal, and everything is fine for about a second. Then my game crashes and relaunches the launcher with this message:

The game crashed whilst colliding entity with block
Error: java.lang.NullPointerException: Colliding entity with block

In that time frame between killing the dragon and the crash I'm not doing anything, there is no time to even move. I've tried to kill the dragon at least three time now and it crashes every time.
