snow has messed up textures

basically in snowy tundra i was placing redstone lamp around a redstone block in creative and then out of nowhere the words "sel unsel" appeared around every island. after exiting the map and coming back it turned white. after restarting the launcher it was replaced with snow and my inventory turned white. im guessing the textures got funky.
