Game crashes upon loading in a world effects versions 1.10 to 1.14

What I expected to happen was...:
I expected to load into a new world i had just created.

What actually happened was...:
I loaded in a new Minecraft world and when the game loads in it instantly triggers the game not to respond and crash. When i reload Minecraft the world is shown as being either corrupted or out dated. 

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Load the Minecraft Launcher.
2. ...Create a new world or join a prexisting world.
3. ...Wait the world to start to render in.
