Sticky pistons won't stick to extended pistons?!?!?!

i made a complaint earlier yet it was partially fixed. my newest complaint would be that the sticky piston that i had placed won't stick to an already extended piston. i have done multiple test's beforehand and this is the only one that failed. For Example: A sticky piston will retract any piston that is already retracted, but a stick piston won't retract any piston that is extended. Could someone please write me back for help, would be much appreciated.
