Scaffolding Floating and Disappearing

When right-clicking scaffolding at build limit it just disappears and leaves floating scaffolding around it. I am using optifine, but I tested it in base game and it was a problem in the base game too. I don't know what more to say so here is a video: (The video is recorded on OptiFine, but the bug is also in vanilla Minecraft)
