Pillager Raid Loop

Whenever i ad a raid, i would obviously kill off all the Pillagers, even with the help of an iron golem, except even if it kills all of them, a new raid starts. This is in single player, and because of that I was thankfully able to put it in peaceful before the rid continued after 4 repeated loops. Also, I thought Vindicators were no longer allowed to spawn in raids? I saw Vex flying around on the 3rd loop.
