Farm land trap glitch

When I stood in the corner of the world (the world border), and made the grass underneath me a farmland using my wooden hoe, I started glitching back and forth in to the world border, causing me be stuck their forever. I removed the water source of the farm land and waited the farm land underneath my to dry out. After it dried out, I was able to escape.
