Can't connect to any server

Whenever I try to access a server I receive a message right after it's about to connect; "Failed to log in: Invalid session (Try restarting your game and the launcher)" however whenever I follow these instructions it is followed by the same error message when the launcher is restarted. This happens for any server I want to join no matter what the version is. Please help in any way you can.
