enlarging screen while game is loading (on Mac) results in the game freezing

When you see the red loading bar with the Mojang logo and the white background, try to enlarge the screen before the bar reaches 50% by clicking on the corner of the window and dragging upward and there you can observe it go black and freeze.

( I think this is just a problem on Mac not sure about windows)
