Grindstones Don't Give EXP

When disenchanting items, I noticed that grindstones don't give experience anymore. I mean, did they remove it? It worked in 1.14.1 but in .2 and .3 it doesn't.

Edit: OK, the EXP kept getting stuck behind the grindstone, don't mind me and my stupidity.
