minecraft crash on loading 1.14.3 from new launcher

1.14.3 version of minecraft crash

What I expected to happen was...:
I expected the new vesion to load.

What actually happened was...:

The game crashed and wouldn't allow me to open the crash log.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. updated to new launcher.
2. downloaded new 1.14.3 version of minecraft.
3. tried to load up the game but just crashed instantly.
