My horse keeps disappearing when it gets submerged in water and sometimes when I get off

Most of the time if I get off my horse it will disappear. If I leave the game and come back I can see it again however. Everytime my horse kicks me off (too far in water) it will always disappear. Once it disappears I try to right click around the area and I don't get on it so it's like it is completely gone and not even just invisible.
