Having to hold-click to move items in inventory

Out of nowhere, some time after playing Minecraft normally in 1.14.1, I was not able to simply click on items to move them around my inventory. I later discovered that I had to hold-click to move them, even for shift-clicking. This occurred in both pre and post issue made worlds.
