went into game with wrong verstion no warning and lost everything that i worked for days for

i lived on a mountain in 1.14.2 and i went on 1.8 to go on a server and forgot i wasn't in the right version with no warning it put we in at the sky box base gone everything i worked for gone and  i switched to 1.14.2 and the same thing happened
