I cannot play multiplayer

I tried to play multiplayer, but the LAN host does not appear on the server board. 

I: 1.created a new world

2. opened it on LAN

3. tried to connect on the other device, but the LAN host name didn't appeared on the list

Then, I tried to make a new world on the other device:

1. created the world
2. opened it on LAN
3. the world appeared, but when I tried to connect, there was a report error, which was saying there was no more info from that server.   What should I do to play in LAN?
