Glitching through blocks when getting off of minecarts

I was at the end, about to build my enderman farm. I completed my rail out into the distance of the main island and rode it for the first time. I glitched through the block (The exact one my minecart was on) and fell into the void. The floor was only one block thick and on y=0 (I'm standing on y=1) if this helps.
