House destroyed because a chunk regenerated itself

What I expected to happen was...:
My house would stay normal

What actually happened was...:
The chunk my house was in changed and part of my house was gone

Steps to Reproduce:
Not sure, I just got on my world ready to play and part of my house + the mountain it was in were replaced by a lake. I would include a screenshot but whenever I try to take one it doesn't work.
