Weird quivering effect when leaving boat

I attempted to dismount from a boat. The screen would shake and the boat would disappear. I am able to turn but not move away from where I dismounted. If I save the game then re-enter it, the boat appears, and it can be shaken to be turned into an inventory item as usual.

What I expected to happen was...:
I should be able to dismount, then shake the boat to turn it into an inventory item, and pick it up as usual.

What actually happened was...:
My view shakes and I am unable to jump or move away until progress is saved and the game re-entered.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Build a boat.

2. Put it on water.

3. Get in the boat and row to a shore somewhere.

4. Attempt to get out of the boat when at shore by selecting your dismount button.
