Where did my horse go

I was riding my horse and suddenly the world stopped loading, and I couldn’t ride my horse into empty space, so I closed and reopened the game, and the area was able to load but I had been forcefully dismounted from my horse and it was gone. I had issues with my horses disappearing after I dismounted before but I was always able to find my horse. I think my horse is gone this time. I cannot find my horse.
