"Johnny" Vindicators not properly attacking mobs

Vindicators named Johnny (should make them kill everything except for other illagers) have issues attacking a mob, issues as in taking in and out their axe repeatedly causing it to not to hit the mob until suddenly it finally kills it. This makes the process of killing a mob more time consuming. This happens most of the time, it's maybe like a 50/50 chance this will happen.
