Laggy mobs and block destruction and falling

Hello my name Sebastian and Im having a problem with only the new versions 1.14 + the bug that Im experiencing is lag but it isn't  affecting my frame rap only the environment around me such as the blocks taking longer to break or i have to break them twice in order for them to break,Mobs are not walking around but jumping around like they would with heavy lag,the same with fall damage being a problem where i would fall and not take damage but take it a few seconds or minutes later like you would see when there is a huge amount of lag, I have tried increasing the ram form 2 to 6 but that has not done anything i have also tried removing most worlds to free space but that has also been fruitless i have turned all my settings down to such as render distance to 6 and lower also the  other settings down but nothing has worked i was hoping you could get this sorted quickly please because it is also affecting servers that i join and also i would really like to play and enjoy the new updates with no problems
