IN surival mode, any items mined by means of picaxe, axe, or any other item used to make blocks collectable, does not work. The blocks disappear completely.

What I expected to happen was...:
Pickup an item when it was mined or broken.

What actually happened was...:
The item disappeared totally.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Place a block in survival mode
2. Break the block
3. The item will not drop.
