Lag spikes after long time playing

What I expected to happen was
60 fps

What actually happened was...:
i got extreme lag spikes the fps dropped down to as low as 2 fps

and around 90-100% CPU Usage in the task manager

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Launch minecraft
2. Play for more than 20 minutes
3. Lags
