Rain and horses as map textures

When I entered my Minecraft world, there were 2 horses of a certain color/pattern (ex: black horse w/ white spots) that had the rain texture on them. The rest of the horse textures were fine except these certain ones. The next physical day, the same two horses turned into map textures that I had maps of. To make it clearer, the maps that I made were on the horses. If I created a new world and spawned horses, it was white until I made a map. When it rains, the rain texture was replaced with the map textures and makes it harder to see my surroundings. These bugs are affected on all my worlds.
