Horse disappears when dismounted sometimes.

I have a horse with Iron Horse armor(I'm not sure if it really affects it) on my survival single player world, and sometimes when I dismount it is disappears completely. I can still hear it, but it is almost like it just suddenly vanishes. And however, whenever I reload my world back up it reappears.
