Can't paste § into a book to style text

I can paste normale letters just fine

I can paste § just fine too in my note block or anywhere else

 but i can't paste § anywhere in the book and quill, be it first or seventh page, to style text like the tuto or wiki said.
I tried in solo creative, it didn't worked either.
