Keep getting stuck inside doors

When I open a door and close it accidentally while I am still going through the doorway I become trapped in said doorway, unable to look around (whenever I try it just jumps back to where it started) or move. Can still mine blocks though. If I finally manage to open the door by myself I sink into the block below further hindering my movement. The only way we have found to be able to get out of this is to have a friend break said door.
