Recipe Browser Saying Can't Complete Recipe When Durability @ 0 for an Item

Tried this with the dispenser recipe.

 

I had a bow with durability 0, redstone, and plenty of cobble, and it displayed the dispenser recipe with a red border. I couldn't click it or anything, but when trying to manually craft the recipe that of course worked. Just a minor issue, not sure if it's with 0 durability on the bow only, or if it's just broken at all, but it was just something I noticed.
