1.14.1 Realms, Item's disappearing in Hot-bar when AFK.

I've been using an "AFK" fishing strategy for a while, and I recently noticed that on two occasions my fishing rod would disappear from my hotbar, both when I would be AFK Fishing. It's becoming rather annoying as I've spent nearly 4-5 hours on simply getting both fishing rods (Unbreak 3 Lure 3 Luck 2 Mending) and every time I leave my computer to AFK farm (right click autoclicker), on certain occasions when I am not at my computer, the fishing rod would disappear. I've visited the forums for minecraft and located multiple outdated posts regarding the same exact issue, and I don't know why it's happening. Please fix!

NOTE: The visuals attached are multiple hours between each other, however the image with an empty inventory was meant to ONLY have a fishing rod. However the item was gone when I returned.
