Cant click items while in a crafting bench

When opening the crafting bench menu I opened the recipe book and could no longer click items, or change them out with other items on the top row of my inventory.  However everything appears to work fine when the recipe GUI is closed.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open crafting bench GUI

2. Open recipe GUI

3. try to move items from the top row of your inventory
