Zombie Villagers with armour dont equip better armour dropped by the player or hold any item dropped by the player

If you throw an enchanted piece of armour to a zombie villager that is wearing unenchanted armour, they will not equip the enchanted armour that was dropped by the player. Neither do they pick up items when thrown at them.
