Overpopulation of squids and salmon

I opened my 1.14 map in 1.14.1 (backed up) and noticed a lot of squids and salmon spawning in a river nearby, like, A LOT. I think this is some sort of bug so I decided to report it here.

Also, some of the squids got out of the water on their own and died.
