To many mobs

So new mc world in survival then turning the mode to Easy just played it for 5 minutes then night fell slept and then the next day a lot and way to many ''evil'' mobs are spawning I just don't get it because I put it on Easy and on like a 10x10 block space like 10 mobs where there.. just to many for me on Easy..
