treasure map generated in 1.13 doesn't have a treasure chest

 I had a treasure map for a beach from a shipwreck that was found in version 1.13 but was not searched for until after 1.14 was released to ever-yone.  When I went to recover the chest and dug up the entire beach down 5-6 blocks no chest was found..
